All these books that I’m reading and have read are something that I needed at that time or something that I wanted to read for enjoyment. Thanks to all who have reached out about what I’m reading or have read. Let me know what your reading.
I have decided that I’m going to start reading this for my development. I started reading a book on how to save money and get out of debt. But I’m not going to stop reading for pleasure. I’m working on my personal development throughout this year and next. So what does your 2023 reading list look like?
I have been trying to find books that will help me in this season that Im in. And this book did not disappoint. I wanted to do and be better at mediation. And this book has taught me different ways to not only mediate but also mindfulness. I have tried many techniques in this book that has made me better. If you’re looking for a book that will teach you many mediation and mindfulness.
This year I’m making it about me and my growth. So I wanted to more books that will help me with my development and growth. So I decided to read this book. I must say that I was shocked that I’m not the only one who feels like I’m supposed to be a certain way. It’s okay to be authentically yourself. I love that each chapter is a way for you to grow and question what can you be doing better. Or as she puts it dig deep. I don’t see this book so much as a self-help book than I do a book that makes you think on a deeper level. I have learned some amazing lessons from this book that I have already put into practice. You only have one life why not live it to its fullest. Stop worrying about what others think and say. Make your life the best life. I’m going to dance like no one is watching. I’m going to cultivate more joy in my life. I’m choosing to live and love with my whole heart. This is a new year and a new me.
Okay let me just say this. I love that I get a chance to review other people’s books. But this author lite a fire in me to continue with my book. Let me just start by saying this is a book I wouldn’t have otherwise read if the author didn’t send it to me. I love to read books but what I realized with this book is that I limit myself on what I read. Not anymore. I read this book in three days. From the beginning of the book I couldn’t put it down. Let me tell you I’m pretty good at knowing how a story will end, but not with this book. So let me tell you a little about this book. The book is about a boy named Bryan who ends up losing his friend Deonte. Deonte dies trying to save Bryan. Bryan becomes haunted my what his friend did for him. He can’t sleep and keeps having nightmare’s regarding the event. It gets so bad that his mom scheduled him to get help. After talking with a therapist she says that he needs a vacation with his stepdad. I forgot to add that he doesn’t get along with his stepdad. He thinks he’s weird and is always on the phone. Byran agrees to the vacation and his mom sets it up. So his stepdad, grandfather and Bryan go to a amusement park. But this is no ordinary amusement park. What he felt like could be a good time ended up being something that would change his life forever. Bryan wasn’t a confident person at all. But in the end he gets a girl and gains respect for his stepdad. Not everything is what it may seem to be. This was a page turner for sure.
This book is all types of crazy. When I tell you that this book is a page turner. Craziness at its finest. This book will have you thinking you know how it turns out, just to prove you wrong. This is a must read. Now it’s time to see the movie. I rate this book 5/5.
What can I say about this book. I really enjoyed it. It’s not a thriller like they claim. But it’s not predictable either as I thought it would be. It’s a page turner for sure. So here’s some info about the book. The daughter in law and the mother in law don’t have a good relationship. But suddenly the mother in law dies. The mother in law two children think that they are about to inherit a bunch of money. Only to find out she left her estate to her charity. Who could have killed the mother in law? Welp it wasn’t who I thought did it.
