Book review:

I loved the book The Hate You Give. But this book I’m not quite sure. It’s a good book but the ending wasn’t what I expected. To be honest the ending leaves you with more questions than answers. This is her second book and to me, it’s pretty much the same typical book. A young girl living in the hood with her mother. Her father dies and her mom ends up on drugs. Bri wants to be a rapper just like her dad was. It’s a good book but it’s very predictable. If you read this book tell me your thoughts.

Book review:

So I read the book The Four Agreements and to be honest I had never heard of this book or the author. But the concept of this book is four agreements to live by. 1. Be impeccable with your word 2. Don’t take anything personally 3. Don’t make assumptions 4. Always do your best. These are easy no brainer ways to live your life. I thought that the book was okay. I didn’t like some of the verbiages that he used to reference something, but that’s me. Overall I would give the book 3 out of 5 stars. It was an interesting book, to say the least. Have you read this book before?

Book review:

I’m a huge of Terry McMillan. And let me tell you this book didn’t disappoint. Just because you get older doesn’t mean you’re life goes downhill. This book talks about love, life and true friendships. No matter what age you are keep living and loving. This book goes through life, death and learning to live again.

Book review: The kite runner

I had read this book years ago but decided to read it again. This book had my emotions all over the place. This book was powerful and touching. This book held a friendship like no other. But in the end one person felt the friendship wasn’t worth it. They lost a true friend and in the end they learned that life is to short not to do right. Going back home one last time would bring back memories and enemies once forgotten.

Book review:

This book is what I needed at the right time in my life. I didn’t want to bother God with the small things in my life. There is way to much going on in the world for me to bother God with this. But God is able to do abundantly beyond all that we ask or think. There are a couple of quotes that I love from this book. “Just because God can doesn’t mean he will.” “But just because He hasn’t doesn’t mean He won’t”. Powerful book. A must read for sure.

Book review:

This book is good for all married people. I didn’t understand what boundaries in a marriage looked like. The tools that you learn from this book will help your marriage grow. Real life tools for real life problems. Divorce is always the easy solution. But having boundaries can help prevent a divorce.

Book review: The couple next door:

Wow-what can I say. This book had me on my toes because from the beginning there are twists and turns. This book is about a kidnapping and one of the parents is involved in it for money. But trust me it’s more to it then what you think. This book I thought I had figured out, well I was wrong about it. This book was hard to put down because you wanted to know the truth about what happened to baby Cora. If you read this book please let me know.

Book review:

Okay, so I must say that I’m a huge Mary Higgins Clark fan. So I love all of her books. I haven’t read anything by her so far that I didn’t like. I love the mystery and suspense of her books. This book is about a wealthy lady who goes on a cruise with the Cleopatra necklace that was once stolen from her tomb. There is a curse on the necklace that if anyone wears it to sea that they will die. So now who wanted the necklace? Several people on the cruise could have killed her. But is it who you think it is? I guessed wrong. Have you read this book before? If so let me know what you think.

Book review:

I love reading books that will help me with my growth as a person and also in my Christian walk. This book did both for me. It made me think about things differently and doing things differently. This book made me realize that my purpose is just as important as anyone else’s. I never thought my purpose was that important, to be honest. But God created us to be different and do things differently. This is a book that I would recommend to anyone who wants to live there life on purpose. This book also helps me make the most of my day count. I have been slacking when it comes to things that I need to do. I’m very motivated to make the most of my day count. If you have read this book please let me know what you think.
