Okay let me just say this. I love that I get a chance to review other people’s books. But this author lite a fire in me to continue with my book. Let me just start by saying this is a book I wouldn’t have otherwise read if the author didn’t send it to me. I love to read books but what I realized with this book is that I limit myself on what I read. Not anymore. I read this book in three days. From the beginning of the book I couldn’t put it down. Let me tell you I’m pretty good at knowing how a story will end, but not with this book. So let me tell you a little about this book. The book is about a boy named Bryan who ends up losing his friend Deonte. Deonte dies trying to save Bryan. Bryan becomes haunted my what his friend did for him. He can’t sleep and keeps having nightmare’s regarding the event. It gets so bad that his mom scheduled him to get help. After talking with a therapist she says that he needs a vacation with his stepdad. I forgot to add that he doesn’t get along with his stepdad. He thinks he’s weird and is always on the phone. Byran agrees to the vacation and his mom sets it up. So his stepdad, grandfather and Bryan go to a amusement park. But this is no ordinary amusement park. What he felt like could be a good time ended up being something that would change his life forever. Bryan wasn’t a confident person at all. But in the end he gets a girl and gains respect for his stepdad. Not everything is what it may seem to be. This was a page turner for sure.
What can I say about this book besides it was so good. I’m a huge Harlan Coben fan. Okay so this book is about a student turned professor who fell in love with a woman he met at a retreat. They have this crazy summer love fling and then she ends the relationship. He gets an invitation to her wedding but can’t believe she is marrying someone else. She makes him promise her on her wedding day to not look for her. Six years later he sees her husband’s obituary and he has fulfilled his promise. But Natalie is missing and the guy she was married to had another wife and kids. So what happened to Natalie? And why is Jake breaking the promise to leave her alone? Will love really make you go further than you thought you should? Is it worth getting kidnapped and shot at? Well you tell me? This book seriously kept me on my toes.
I’ve never read a book by this author before. I truly enjoyed this book. All the twist and turns. I honestly couldn’t figure out who was behind it all until the end. I really did enjoy this book.
I honestly couldn’t finish this book. So the main character Queenie is so needy and dramatic. Queenie and her boyfriend Tom are on a break from each other. But instead of Queenie using this as a time to work on herself, she starts having random sex with men. Yeah I’m over this book. Didn’t want to finish it because it was becoming to much for me. I gave this book a rating of 1.
This is a very heartfelt book. This book was about a woman who came back to her family home to bury her uncle. She was asked to help restore the family home. But what she found was family secrets and people didn’t want those secrets getting out. Not only that but how do you restore a marriage that you feel is falling apart? This is a good book.
I like this book a lot. It gives you some great self care tips. This book has many resources that you can use. Self care is super important to me. This book is a book. that I will constantly use as a guide for a better me. If you need a book that will give you guided was to self care this is the book. This is a must read for anyone interested in self care.
I have not read a Harlan Coben book that I didn’t like. This book was very hard to put down. So many twists and turns. It kept me turning page after page. I love when I can’t figure out what’s going to happen. So this book is about a brother in search of the brother he let leave his life. They haven’t seen each other in 16 years when his wife turns up without his brother. Where is his brother and why is his brother wife in danger?
I got this book from a book box subscription. And to be honest this book was okay. It’s not a book I would recommend to anyone unless you really like the workings of the news. This book was just okay to me.
I can’t even begin to explain this book. At first I was like okay I’m going to have this book figured out. But I wasn’t able to figure it out. Then it got a little boring in the middle. But overall it’s a good read. I give this book 4 stars.
I honestly didn’t know what to expect from this . But I was blown away from all the family drama that Lincoln had to endure during his marriage with Mary. This book got a little boring with all the different family members and there life. All the dates and history was a little overwhelming. But overall a good book.
