What are you doing?:

What are you doing today to better yourself? Are you still trying to figure out how to get rest, exercise and do work around the house? How about taking some time each day to focus on yourself. Take a bath and let the family know it’s your time and not to disturb you. At lunch go for a short walk to clear your mind. Grab a book at read for five minutes. You have to focus in yourself sometimes. The world and your family will function a lot better with a healthy you. Let’s take time out for ourselves this week.

  1. Good question.
It’s taken me years to understand how to take care of me” self care” one important lesson I’ve learned is relationship have been my greatest distraction. Really learning to enjoy my time alone to foucs on my goals is important. I do feel lonely at times, but when I think about another person intruding on my quiet time, coffee in bed, lounging on the sofa and having the bed to myself. Maybe one day my equal partner will come but until that time. My life and time is all for me❤️

    1. My husband has given me the space to take time for me. And it has made our relationship so much better. He has taken time to work on himself and I’m loving this man more and more. More people need to be understanding of people’s time and allow them to rest and breathe.

      1. I agree. I’ve had one relationship that allowed me the space and freedom to be me and to work on me. It ended in 2004, and I’ve never had a successful relationship since. Good for you and your husband ❤️

  2. this is a good reminder to slow down–even if just for a few minutes–and just breathe and BE. Every morning I force myself out the door to walk the dog. Once I’m there I love it but it can be tough sometimes. Have a lovely day.
