I’m a Kansas girl living in a Texas world. Well, this picture was taken on Sunday and we have more snow and ice heading our way tonight. I’m used to the cold, snow, and ice. But I haven’t lived in Kansas in 11 years. But this cold is something I haven’t felt in so long. It’s nice to look at but it’s not nice to be in. They have asked people to stay off the roads and stay home. But people are not listening. There are so many power outages. I hope everyone stays safe.

I hope so, too! My aunt and uncle in San Antonio were without power for almost 27 hours. So scary! I’m glad you’re safe!

Oh, gosh, that’s so crazy. Here in Virginia, it poured down rain last night. Just so weird. A storm for the ages, I think.

My daughter lives in TX and didn’t have power since Sunday and no water either. She is in Breckenridge about 2 hrs west of Dallas. It’s been bad there and on the news. I hope all is fine now. Your temps should rebound soon I hope. We are getting up to 4 more inches of snow here east of Nashville TN. Take care!

Oh I should back up and say that my daughter DOES have power and water now. I think the power came on yesterday and water today. Yay. They have a newborn so I’ve been concerned but friends took them in. I hope all is ok with you there!
