Let’s talk:

Okay, so if you know my blog then you know that I keep it real on here. So you may wonder why my word this year is myself. Well have you ever been there for others and honestly lost yourself in taking care of others than you have yourself. I don’t have anything left to give people. I’m completely drained. I need to find my joy, love, and light again. I feel like a mirror broken into a million pieces that I need to put back together again. And to be honest I don’t have a clue where to start. Okay let me take that back I have prayed about it and that is a start. So where do I go from there? I’m not sure. I have so much work to do on myself because I’m starting from the beginning again. I have pain that I need to deal with. I love to love me again. I have to understand that I can’t be everything to everyone. I’m going to grow and glow this year. Well, maybe this is supposed to be my next move. I good at holding things in so maybe blogging about it will help me.

  1. I think you have taken the first step by saying you need self care. make a list. I started with my health, working on my financial situation to feel secure, I have moved away from all people, placed and other things that drain me of my energy and don’t support me being whole.❤️

  2. I really don’t think you need to start over, just start from where you are. Journeys are interesting and they have their “I never saw that coming” highs and lows. Trust me and so many of your other guests, we go through these “Finding ourselves moment” all the time. I agree with the former comments of your guests, that you have to take a deep breath, go to your “time out” corner as I call it, and know that what you can fix, fix…and what you can’t leave it/them alone.

In this new year, don’t stay fixated and drag that old baggage into this time of renewal. You’ll only find yourself playing the same song like a scratched old vinyl record and inevitably it will be a new day with no changes. Breathe, because honey chile, 🙂 this too shall pass! I have learned a thing or two in these 62 years and some of it ain’t pretty, but much of it is beautiful! You shall overcome! ❤

  3. Its good you have a platform to let it out. I believe engaging in the things you love and makes you happy would help you too. So if you love to go to the movies this time, please do. Just soak yourself in activities you love and yes the place of dwelling in His presence too helps a whole lot more.
    Be good, ma’am. 🤗

  4. Suggestion! We can all find ourselves by reconnecting to the one who gives us joy and peace. Begin by reading Ephesians chapters 1 and 2. This is a great reminder of who Christians are in Christ Jesus. The book of John is a love book along with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John, which great Books to read.
I know where you are, for I once was lost in who I was after taking care of others. Only Father God can re-ignite our flame to restore our joy and peace, which gives one great inter-fullfillment.😊😊👣

  5. Take it in stride, find your place of peace within your spirit. I think giving to others as well as yourself is almost like ying and yang. However like my father says even personally, financially or spiritually you have to give to the right places. I think with time you’ll learn the blessing in that. But of course never neglect yourself you’re all you have. All the best with your journey
