Let’s talk books:

I’m looking for new book recommendations. Are you currently read any good books? What old books did you enjoy?

  1. I haven’t read it yet, but I am most looking forward to reading “Again Again” by E. Flockhart.

    Old books I have enjoyed:
    “To Kill A Mockingbird”
    “The Picture of Dorian Gray”
    “A Tree Grows In Brooklyn”
    “Catcher in the Rye”
    “Wuthering Heights”
    “And Then There Were None”
    “Pride and Prejudice”
    “Little Women”
    “The Velveteen Rabbit”
    “A Tale of Two Cities”

  2. Yes to Kristian’s list above! Some random additions: Anything by C.S. Lewis (start with The Chronicles of Narnia and Mere Christianity). Invisible Man (Ellison). The Lord of the Rings (Tolkien). Native Son (Wright). The Discworld book series by Pratchett (absurdly funny fantasy).

  3. Oh yes! Something I can actually comment on!

Let’s see. I’ll always recommend House of Leaves

    – The Raw Shark Texts
    – Foucault’s Pendulum
    – Sharp Objects
    – cough ahem, Twilight Saga
    – Slaughterhouse Five
    – The Historian
    – Ship of Theseus (S.)

If you follow my blog, you know I have a strange obsession with the Twilight Saga. But I’m ok, really I am!

I really read a lot of different things. I’m currently reading Full Dark, No Stars by Stephen King.

Good luck finding your next favourite book!

    1. Whoa okay I have seen the Twilight Saga when it was made into a movie but never read the books. Going to add that to my list. I’m a huge fan of Stephen King but sometimes his books leaving me in a really strange place lol. I’m going to have to check out the other books that you have suggested. Thank you so much.

      1. House of Leaves, and Ship of Theseus are difficult reads – multiple story lines, unreliable narrators. But they are two of my favourite books. Enjoy!!
