So true. Why put the key to your happiness in another person’s pocket? My hubby used to be offended when we just met and started having a thing for each other. Each time he said “I love you,” I would go, “I love me too, and I love you too.”

Amen to that – “love thyself”. We are instructed in the Bible to love others as we love ourselves. So, if we hate self, we will be mean to others or hate them.😣👣
