So let’s talk. I had seen this Facebook post that someone posted and it stated that marriage isn’t hard, being married to the wrong person makes marriage hard? Is this a true statement? I’m curious.

I haven’t been married, so I can’t speak to that, but in terms of being in a partnership, it requires compromise and that can take a lot of work. Whether one wants to call that hard or not, that work at compromise is always going to be needed.

Compromise I hated that word when I first got married. But now I’m learning to compromise.

I’m not married but I know what the Bible teaches abut marriage and the scriptures say that marriage is trouble in the flesh.

Marriage is hard. The compromise is constant and enduring. Sometimes compromise as small as what to have for dinner and sometimes as big as who’s career will take precedent. When you think of two ever evolving beings trying to operate cohesively its a miracle any of us stay married. I won’t say sometimes marriage can’t be easy. It absolutely can. But, sometimes you have to want to be married and have faith with some work you can get through the rough patches.
