Yesterday I got to see one of my favorite movies on T.V. I love the movie Notebook. If you don’t know or never seen the notebook, let me tell you a little about it. In 1940s South Carolina, mill worker Noah Calhoun and rich girl Allie are desperately in love. But her parents don’t approve. When Noah goes off to serve in World War II, it seems to mark the end of their love affair. In the interim, Allie becomes involved with another man. But when Noah returns to their small town years later, on the cusp of Allie’s marriage, it soon becomes clear that their romance is anything but over. But what I love the most about this movie is that Allie is in a nursing home and Noah stays in the nursing home reading to Allie every day about there love story to help her remember. What I love about this movie is how much love Noah has for Allie and how he won’t leave her. If you never saw the movie stop reading this because it’s about to be a spoiler alert. They die together. Even though this is a true story this story lets us know that love conquers all. This is the type of love I’m striving for. How you ever saw the Notebook? How do you feel about the movie?
Loved the book too much to watch the movie. 😉
