Happy birthday son:

Today my oldest son is 24. Crazy to believe I have a 24 year old. This time 24 years ago I was nervous and excited about meeting my son. I was about to be a first time mom. But I was a senior in high school. How was I going to be a mom and a high school student? So many people I knew who got pregnant in high school dropped out. I knew that wasn’t going to be me at all. I was determined to be different. I had my son and graduated from high school. And as I look back as a mom I’m so proud of you son. You seen me never give up and you have never given up. You have weathered the storm. I love you more than you know. You have made me proud in ways you don’t understand. Son you are about to accomplish anything you set your mind to. Have a great birthday.
