Last weekend I could honestly say that I was stress free. I didn’t have to deal with the burden of doing and being around people who were not good for me. I wish I could have bottled up last weekend and be able to open it up when I need it. I get so caught up in work and life that I don’t always take a break to relax and destress. I’m always going and doing for other’s. Well all that is about to stop. My health is so important to me right now that I need to walk away from things and situations that don’t benefit me. I need to stand my ground and make sure I’m good. Stress is really making a huge impact on my health. I’m not going to allow myself to be so stressed anymore. I’m working on me and my health. How do you destress?
It’s wonderful that you were able to have that weekend! I usually destress by grabbing a good book and go to a quiet place. 😊

I find cutting off, distancing as well as setting boundaries from people who are a hindrance and a negative distraction for me, my goals and peace of mind helps. I love time to myself to pray, chant, engage in visualization, listen to music, motivation videos, and tapes. I also like to take long walks, reading, gardening and cooking. And most of all can I say I love being my own best friend ❤️
