Silent tears I sometimes cry
I’m not myself and I don’t know why
What happened to my laughter, joy and smile
Parts of me are missing and it’s been awhile
Joy will come in the morning they say
But I heard pain don’t last always
When will my smile ever return
I hope soon no more to mourn
