BOOK REVIEW:

Fervent by Priscilla Shirer

My prayer life was pretty basic. I wanted to be able to have an amazing prayer life. I didn’t want to always pray small simple prayers. I wanted to be able to pray bold prayers, that I knew if they got answered, were from God. This book took my prayer life to another level. I felt like I had a pretty good relationship with God, but after reading this book pretty good wasn’t going to cut it. I’ve learned to be bold in my prayers, and speaking things that I want to happen in my life. To really take time to talk to God about my life. I have a prayer wall in my room that has prayers that I want God to answer for me. I don’t want to have just an okay relationship with God, I want to honestly say that God is my friend. We all struggle with something in life, but prayer shouldn’t be one of your struggles. I’ve enjoyed the scriptures at the end of the book, along with real life stories. This book is one that I will be reading over and over again. Your prayer life doesn’t have to be basic anymore. This book will equip you with great ideas and how to make prayer a priority again. This book is a must read.

I bought this book at Half Price Books

Force of Nature: By Jane Harper

I received this book to review from the book club that I’m in. This book is amazing. If you like mystery stories and page turners, this book is for you. The book is about a company who goes on a camping trip. The purpose of the camping trip is so that the women and men can bond. The women were to bond with each other along with the men. But as it turns out the women don’t really get along and care for one another. The women end up getting lost in the woods and that’s when all the drama begins. Nobody wanted to go on this camping trip to begin with, but the owner thought is would be a good way for everyone to bond. Long story short someone dies and no one wants to tell what happend. This book is a page turner and a must read. I read this book in three days.

I hope you get these books and read them. I’m not being paid for my opinion of the books.
